Song Description
One For Brother Benny - 328K "One For Brother Benny" is written in dedication to Benny Golson. This hard-bop tune features Jim's arrangement of the melody, while performing on tenor sax.
Gringita - 480K A sneak peek at Jim's upcoming album of original works. Jim's inspiration for Gringita was to have a song that "people could really dance to." A Latin tune, Jim performs on flute with percussionist Eguie Castrillo and has group driving the beat.
Gringita (Live) - 472K This clip features Jim performing Gringita again, but this time live with his quintet performing at the Joy of Music Program. Jim improvises over the tune he composed.
Shut Up and Dance - 472K Jim shows a rock/blues side as a featured artist performing with Jim Perry. Shut Up and Dance can be found on the album "Melting Pot." Here, Jim launches into a soulful tenor sax solo.
